Our establishment
AREANO is located in the charming town of Exkoriatza, in the Alto Deba region of Guipuzcoa. It was built in 1620 and totally refurbished in 1996, and it now offers all the creature comforts. Built in the traditional style, it has an area of 350 m² and is in good condition.

Rooms
The house has 6 double rooms which are fully equipped to ensure your comfort and relaxation. Four of them have a full bathroom, and the other two have shower rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and equipped with a television. We also have cots if required.

Useful tourist information
The Alto Deba region may be considered the geographical centre of the Basque Country, and it is home to two of the most important sight-seeing destinations in Guipuzcoa (Bergara and Oñati, near which is the Arantzazu Basilica). It is also the cradle of the Basque Co-operative Movement, in Arrasate-Mondragón, in whose medieval town centre many original features can still be seen.
The Alto Deba has attractive natural areas such as the Aizkorri Nature Reserve and the surroundings of the Urkulu reservoir en Aretxabaleta. There are also renowned popular fiestas such as the "Alarde del Moro" (the Moor´s Boast, commemorating a local defeat of the Moors) in Anzuola or the Corpus Christi Procession and the international sheepdog trials in Oñati. As for the cuisine, the Bergara sweets are a good taste of the region. Other areas of interest to visitors are:
